The Rock Project

Fall 2020 - Rhode Island School of Design
Instructor: David Ross

Students chose a random provided rock at the beginning of the course.
The 3D form was carefully translated into a digital model by identifying faces and dimensions.
The digital model was illustrated in several fashions.
A random grid from artist Agnes Martin was applied onto an unfolded portion of the model.
Finally, two self selected images were vectorized and applied to the model in the same manner.
